Notes:  I abandoned Naruto a while ago, but I still have a lot of old drabbles that I haven't posted yet, so maybe I'll post them later (they're horrible though, so don't puke).  This one-shot has a little tiny second part involving Kidoumaru's mother and sister (my OC's, so no stealing).  I'll post it later.

This one-shot was a lot of work for me, a lot of emotion in some places, and lots and lots of fun.  It was inspired by the Naruto Anime Profiles saying that Kidoumaru's character was based off of a minor demon called 'Asura'.  You'll see how I use that here.  I hope you enjoy, and give me advice in places that I messed up.

Notes:  Once upon a time, a writer with horrible timing once put on her FFnet profile that she was going to write a story called Mesh.  It was about one of her favorite characters and she was having a fine time writing it, until life decided to be a bitch and kicked her inspiration right off the block.

Then, one magical day, it happened.  Her inspiration came back at full force!  So she wrote and wrote until the story was finally done.  Then she used her handy-dandy mouse to paste it here in all of its glory.

She wishes that you enjoy this piece of work!  Oh, and that you credit the idea happening in the first place because of snappleducated.  Love her --she is amazing.
